Chrysler Group recently announced a deal with China's biggest independent automaker, Chery, to launch a low-cost production venture that will aim to export the first Chinese-made cars to the United States. Chinese manufacturers have built up a reputation for reasonably well-made, inexpensive low-tech products such as toys and textiles. But as Chinese manufacturers begin exporting big ticket items such as cars to the U.S., quality and safety issues are taking on even greater impo China has become capitalist nation aimed investments in US and EU.
